CIA Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for CIA, candidates must meet the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (any field) from an accredited institution

  • Alternatively, associate degree + more work experience

  • No specific major required, but accounting/finance is preferred

  • Create an account at https://www.ictbusinessschool.com

  • Submit required documents: education transcripts, ID, and experience

  • Apply through the CCMS (Certification Candidate Management System)

Exemptions & Fast Track Options

  • CIA Challenge Exam: Available for ACCA, CPA, and CA qualified candidates to become CIA in 1 exam instead of 3

  • No exemptions for general candidates

CIA Certification Process
To become a CIA:

  1. Pass all 3 exams

  2. Submit education and experience verification

  3. Agree to ethics policy

  4. Maintain certification with CPE (40 hours per year)
